How we work

The five steps from your first call to our final walkback.

Most contractors treat the process like a black box. Here is ours, written down, so you know exactly what happens — and where the “difference” actually shows up.

01

Call or text — we pick up.

Dial (850) 466-1766 or fill out the form on this site. You get a real person on the line, usually inside business hours within a few rings, and after hours by next morning. We take down the basics — what kind of work, where the property is, how soon you would like to start — and book the on-site walkthrough.

What makes us different here

We do not have voicemail roulette and we do not route you through a call center. The person who answers is the person who can actually book you in. Most quotes go on the calendar inside the same call.

02

On-site walkthrough within 5 business days.

We come out, walk the property with you, and look at what you actually want done. Sometimes you know exactly what you want — “a 12×14 paver patio with a pergola.” Sometimes it is “the backyard is a mess, help me figure out where to start.” Both are fine. The walkthrough is 15-30 minutes, no pressure, no high-pressure pitch, no “today-only” pricing nonsense.

What makes us different here

We are not running a commission-based sales process. We are not going to push you toward the most expensive option. If the answer is “you only need a French drain, not a full regrade,” that is what we will tell you.

03

Written quote and timeline.

Within a few days of the walkthrough you get a written quote — scope, materials, timeline, total. Not a one-line text-message number. A real document you can hold up against another quote, line by line, and see where the price is coming from.

What makes us different here

The number does not move unless we find a hidden condition during the work — rotted footings, an irrigation main we did not know about, a tree root running under the patio site — and even then, we stop, document it, and get your sign-off in writing before we keep going. No surprise invoices at the end.

04

Build phase with daily site updates.

Once you sign, we schedule the crew and start. On longer jobs you get a short update at the end of each work day — what got done, what is coming tomorrow, anything that changed. Short messages, not novels. You do not have to wonder where the project stands.

What makes us different here

You should not have to chase your contractor for updates. The single most common complaint in this trade is “they vanished after the deposit.” We do the opposite — we overcommunicate, and we leave the job site cleaner each evening than how we found it that morning.

05

Walkback inspection with you.

Before we send the final invoice, Jay or the crew lead walks the finished job with you. We look at the work together, you point out anything that needs touching up, we fix it on the spot or schedule the touch-up. Permit gets signed off where applicable, paperwork goes in your file, warranty starts.

What makes us different here

The walkback is the part most contractors skip. We treat it as the most important step — it is your one chance to point at something and say “not quite right” without it being awkward. That is the whole point.

They answer the phone every time. That alone puts them in a different league around here.

Step 1 starts when you pick up the phone.

Or send a quick note from the contact page if texting is easier. Either way, we’ll get back to you the same business day.
