What we do

• Structural pruning & crown work. Crown thinning, crown reduction, deadwood removal. We prune for tree health, not just to make the canopy “look smaller.”
• Tree removal. Controlled drops, crane-assisted on tight lots, full debris removal. Stump grinding 6-12 inches below grade with backfill on request.
• Hurricane prep. Late-winter and early-spring structural work that significantly reduces storm-failure risk. We look for over-extended limbs, included bark, weak attachments, and root-zone issues.
• Palm trimming. Boots, no spikes. Done at the right time of year so the boots fall clean instead of being ripped off mid-trunk.
• Disease & pest management. Live oak galls, palm yellows, southern pine beetle, ambrosia beetle, fungal issues. Diagnosis first, treatment second.
• Storm cleanup & emergency removal. After a named storm we work the queue in order of safety risk — trees on structures first, then driveways, then yards.

The honest part

A leaning tree is not always dangerous and a tall tree is not always a problem. We come out, look at the root flare, look at how the canopy is balanced, look at what is downwind of it, and tell you the truth. Sometimes the answer is “leave it for now and check it again next year.”

Insurance & permits

When a storm drops a tree on a structure, we document the damage and can coordinate directly with your adjuster. If the tree is protected under Pensacola or Escambia County code, we will check before we cut.
